Government
Throughout the years in Greece there were alot of different types of governments including, Democracy's, Tyranny's, and Oligarchy's. The first Greek government was an Oligarchy, which means "rule by a few". Pisistratus overthrew the oligarchy around 546 BC, and then became a tyranny. Tyranny means "rule by a tyrant". A tyrant is a strong leader who has power. Around 500 BC Greece became a democracy, democracy means "rule by the people".
Opia is an Oligarchy, this form of government was chosen because then only a few people will rule, but unlike early Greece, Opia plans on being fair to the citizens and listing to suggestions from the people. We know this form of government will work because the few leaders will be very fair and open to ideas regarding the health and wellness of the citizens.
